GoalEstimate, measure, and record the perimeters of 2-D shapes in centimetres.
Instructions for UsePerimeter prompts students to estimate, and measure perimeter. To use Perimeter, click on the red rectangle below "Perimeter". Read the definition of perimeter and then click on the blue rectangle. Read the information and then click the "next" button. Click on the "Level 1" button. Input the perimeter of the shape in the text box and then click the "check" button to see if the answer is correct. Click the "next" button for the next question. Measuring Perimeter lets students measure and record the perimeters of 2-D shapes in centimetres. To use Measuring Perimeter, click the "More" button. Enter the length of sides "a" and "b" in the text boxes. Click on the "Help with Calculations" button. Use the number key pad to add the lengths of all the sides together to find the perimeter. Click the "Check" button to see if the answer is correct. |
